Our Story
FlyHigh Wings is dedicated to making aviation education accessible, affordable, and exciting for students aged 12–25. Founded by Shaheer Syed, our mission is to bridge the gap between young learners and the aviation industry. We provide workshops, scholarships, mentorship programs, and engaging digital content to inspire the next generation of pilots, engineers, and aviation professionals.
Founded with the belief that aviation should be accessible to all, FlyHigh Wings has began as a small initiative to bring aviation education into schools. We aim to expand our programmes, partnerships, and events to reach even more young people across the world.
The Founder
Shaheer Syed
Shaheer Syed is a Computer Science MEng student at the University of Hull, student pilot, and founder of FlyHigh Wings. He is passionate about using technology to transform aviation, combining hands-on flight training with strong technical expertise in programming, data analysis, and research.
His work focuses on bridging the gap between computer science and aerospace to improve safety, efficiency, and accessibility within aviation.
With FlyHigh Wings, Shaheer aims to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals by delivering innovative educational initiatives, digital aviation tools, and practical pathways into flight training and aerospace careers.
